The subject line should be labelled: Herbology, Assignment One, hol-id (where hol-id is your id)
At the top of the body of the email you should list your hol name, hol id and house otherwise I won't know where to submit points to!
THIS ASSIGNMENT WILL BE DUE MARCH 15.

PART ONE: CREATIVE THINKING

In this months lesson I mentioned various bits of equipment used in Herbology. I want you to make a list of five other things that you think will be used in this subject. For each item that you list, I want an explanation of why you think it will be needed and what it will be used for. Each item is worth four marks each (20 marks total).

PART TWO: TRUE AND FALSE

for each of the statements below, state whether they are true or false. There is no need to correct the statements if they are false. Each correctly answered statement is worth one mark. (five marks total).

1. We know of only one professor of herbology, Professor Sprout.

2. There are three greenhouses at Hogwarts.

3. Professor Sprout prefers using mooncalf dung as fertiliser.

4. The gloves required of students are made of dragon hide.

5. Students are required to bring their wand to herbology.

PART THREE: INTRODUCTION
